Hemphill has been hired exclusively to manage a confidential search – a key hire that will immediately join our client’s executive team.  This business is going through significant change so we are searching for a leader with a stellar track record of change management, people development, and strong technical skills to play a key role through this transition.  This is a phenomenal opportunity for a leader who wants to “do something special” with their career and is looking for a unique role that will allow you to flex your operational, technical and leadership muscles.


Your scope of responsibility will include:

  • Oversight of all SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting, Accounting Policy Research and FASB Guidance
  • Leading, and more importantly, mentoring leaders who have significant teams reporting up to them
  • Supervising the consolidated financial statement preparation process and owning the integrity of the financial statement preparation
  • Leading operational projects including system implementations, software upgrades, and projects that make an immediate impact on the business
